A well-built extension should feel as though it was always part of the house. We take extensions and alterations from the first conversation through planning to the finished build, so the new space is thought through before work starts.
Alterations change how a home works: opening a kitchen into a dining room, widening an opening onto the garden, or reworking a layout. We install the steelwork and temporary propping that structural openings need, then make good and finish the space ready for decoration.

Winchester Builders have been truly brilliant both in terms of workmanship, thoughtfulness and attention to detail. We had a small extension built, plus other extensive renovation work, which included new bathrooms, kitchen, rewiring and plumbing, plus external landscaping. They are very knowledgeable, highly skilled and have great problems solving skills – often suggesting better and usually less expensive ways of achieving the same outcome. Very hardworking, so considerate and extremely tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed having them here and found the whole project such a positive experience. I’d have no hesitation recommending them.
